COVID-19 pandemic is running amok around the world. No-one can predict when a spike will appear or reappear in the world. Portugal was recently put on the Green list and has now been taken off again. Governments are having to reinstate measures and guidelines change almost on a daily basis.
As a rule of thumb, the UK Government changes tack when a country’s seven-day case rate exceeds 20 per 100,000. However, the UK’s own case rate has now passed that threshold, so it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next. Government reviews the status quo every Thursday.
