Ferne Arfin has more than two decades of experience as a journalist and freelance writer including 10 years as a new media editor and travel writer. Currently, she is the United Kingdom and Greece expert for TripSavvy (formerly About.com) and writes extensively about all aspects of travel in the United Kingdom and Western Europe. Ferne's work has appeared in the Sunday Telegraph, The Financial Times, the Los Angeles Times and the International Herald Tribune. She is also the author of Adventure Guide to Provence and the Côte d'Azur, published in the USA by Hunter Publishing and a contributor to several Fodor's guides including Fodor's Guide to the DaVinci Code. A London-based American, she is a graduate of the University of East Anglia and member of the National Union of Journalists, the Society of Authors and the British Guild of Travel Writers.
