Now in its 54th year, Britain’s largest festival of boats, is back and bigger than ever. Southampton International Boat Show returns from Friday 15 September to Sunday 24 September 2023. This year’s show promises to be showstopping, helping everybody to get the most out of life on the water. From paddleboarders to super-yacht fanatics, there is something for everyone.
From stand-up paddleboarding and exhilarating speedboat rides to cruising the Solent, the ‘On the Water Zone’ allows visitors to get wet if they want to.
An action-packed area built for the whole family. There is ‘Try-a-Boat’ where visitors can sail a yacht, take the throttle of a motorboat, or feel the power of RIB blasting around Southampton water. Whether you’re a complete beginner or seasoned pro, thinking about buying your first boat or simply looking for an adventure, qualified instructors are on hand throughout.
This incredible event is the biggest marine showcase in the UK and one of Europe’s largest events. With hundreds of exhibitors, over 650 craft on display plus a purpose-built marina, fabulous food and plenty of family entertainment, there is something to do at every corner. Whether this is your first dip in the ocean, or you have mastered the boating world for some time, we canoe think of a better way to spend your day!
